Larry King Wiki Biography:- Larry King, the legend behind the CNN talk show Larry King Live and who died on 23rd January, 2021, was born on 19th November 1933 in Brooklyn, New York City to parents Aaron Zeiger and Jennie Gitlitz. Both Orthodox Jews, the father was from the Ukraine and worked as a restaurant owner whilst the mother was a garment worker and was from Lithuania. The father died of a heart attack at the age of 44 when Larry was nine years old. He had a brother.

Larry King Dating History And Marriage Details
He was married eight times to seven women, which marriages resulted in five children. The first marriage was annulled by the parents. The second marriage lasted for less than a year and begot him his first son, Larry King Jr., who he did not meet until Larry Jr. was in his thirties. The third marriage resulted in Larry adopting Alene’s son Andy. The forth marriage ended in divorce after two years but bore Larry a daughter, Kelly, and the fifth was to Alene again who bore him a daughter, Chaia. Unfortunately, over the summer of 2020, both Andy and Chaia died within 23 days of each other, Andy suddenly of natural causes and Chaia of lung cancer.
The sixth marriage lasted seven years and bore no children before they were divorced, while the seventh lasted three years before divorcing. The eighth and final marriage lasted 22 years and bore Larry two sons, Chance and Cannon King, before he filed for divorce in 2019 at a Los Angeles Superior Court.
Thus Larry was father to five children, nine grand-children and four great grand-children. He resided in Beverly Hills, California.
Larry King Death
Larry suffered a major heart attack on 24th February 1987. In 2017 a cancerous tumor was discovered in his lung and was successfully removed with surgery. On 23rd April, 2019 Larry underwent a scheduled angioplasty and also had stents inserted. On November 27th, he claimed to have suffered a stroke which lasted for weeks, and that he had contemplated suicide.
On 2nd January 2021, ten days after King was admitted to hospital with Covid-19 related complications, he recovered but succumbed to sepsis complications on 23rd January at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, at the ripe age of 87.
In February 2021, his widow Shawn went to court to contest his will that he had written in 2019, claiming undue influence by Larry King Jr. on his father during the last years of his life. King had left his estate valued at $2 million to his five surviving children.
As for his religious beliefs, King claimed to be an agnostic Jew but later on in 2015 declared himself a full atheist, going so far as to wish for a cryonic suspension after his death, saying he loved Israel, Jews and Jewishness.
King’s sexual orientation was always considered normal, given the number of wives and divorces he went through.
King and Shawn Southwick’s marriage was a rocky one, given that Shawn was accused of having an affair with her son’s baseball coaches, Hector Penate, who later admitted to the affair. In 2016 King was plagued by another affair that had been ongoing year-long by his wife, who had told the alleged lover that King and Shawn’s marriage was over. These issues, coupled with the great age difference between the two and their different religions, (King being an agnostic atheist and she a Mormon), led to King filing for a second divorce on 20th August, 2019, the first having been in 2010, after which they had reconciled.
